ABOUT THE BOWLS

All the bowls are handmade in California! Every bowl is dishwasher safe. Each bowl color is named after and tested by a special cat we know. When you purchase one of our cat bowls, you will know that it is well loved by the cat for which it is named. We only manufacture a limited edition of 1000 bowls per color. Each bowl comes with a birth certificate to show when it was made and the edition number. Once the bowls of a particular color are sold out or “fully adopted,” they will no longer be available.

We plan on offering new colors and finding new cats, like yours, to name after our bowls. You can email us at photos@wuvluv.com with a photo of your cat using the bowl. We would love to feature your cat for a new bowl color as well as load the submitted picture onto the “Photo Gallery.” If your cat is selected for launching a new color, we will name the bowl after him/her and you will receive the first edition.

    Vino would love a bowl named after him. a wine colored bowl! Once I get Vino’s bowl, I will take a pic of him using ti. Do you still have my check, or should I send you a new one?

      Thank you for your support. More colors are definitely coming as we test new glazes. I still have your check. Of course if we name a bowl after Vino, you get the bowl for free! :-)

    Is this bowl suitable for persian himalayan cats who have a flat face? Because of their flat face, a lot of bowls which are too high/deep make it tough for them to eat from it. Did you test this bowl with a flat face cat?

      Hi Lynnet,

      Yes, this bowl is perfect for Persian and Himalayan cats! I specifically designed this bowl for my Persian cat, Buffy. After she had dental surgery, I noticed it was hard for her to eat her food from a flat bottom bowl. The WuvLuv bowl features an elevated and tilted shape that makes it very easy for Persian and Himalayan cats to eat their food. I have had a Persian or Himalayan cat since I was 10 years old. :-) 3% of my profits go to pet charities including the Persian and Himalayan Cat Rescue.
